Aijiren offers a wide range of handheld manual and electronic vial crimpers and decappers designed for standard 11 mm crimp caps (2 mL vials) and headspace 20 mm crimp caps (10 mL and 20 mL headspace vials). Aijiren handheld electronic vial crimpers deliver tight, reproducible seals every time. Slim, adjustable steel jaws fit around closely spaced vials, enabling you to crimp vials directly in vial trays.
Crimp vials are sealed with aluminum caps with septa using crimper and decrimper tools (manual or electronic). The vial selected depends on your sample size and instrument compatibility (see autosampler compatibility chart).
• Load samples into labeled HPLC vials (VWR cat # may be used). Each vial holds a maximum of 1.5 mL but do not need to be completely filled; because the autosampler needle collects sample from the bottom of the vial, only ≈0.5 mL is necessary. For smaller samples, a glass insert may be used (Figure 1).
